Salvation Army Perth - 2006
Basement car park
The building in the northern part of Perth WA and was constructed with a Ground Water Relief Drainage System in the floor of the basement. The walls of the separate lift shaft pump chamber had cracked and the otherwise infrequently operated pumps was running continuously. The proximity of the pit to a Western Power electrical substation was a concern as frequent flooding occurred.
Sovereign Hydroseal sealed the lift shaft pump chamber, lift well and sublevel storerooms. After the successful sealing of the underground services in the basement, Sovereign also sealed the cable trenches in the substation.
