NOH3O - Joint repair
This exciting technology was developed during bulkhead sealing trials in the USA, jointly by our North American and West Australian research teams. This dual component polymer / urethane system forms a mechanical seal that is created whilst pressure grouted into a failed joint or cavernous area – been it a joint or crack. The blend of components reacts with one another even in the presence of water! Although tough, the material remains flexible and forms an impermeable water barrier with remarkable adhesion qualities. This remote joint replacement technology has endured vigorous high pressure trials in excess of 5000 P.S.I. with excellent results. NOH3O may be used in wet and dry conditions.
NOH3O is used for joint and crack repair, especially in inaccessible joints and cracks where access is by means of drilled holes into the cavernous abutment areas.
NOH3O found use with the repair of cracks and joints in lift wells, bulkheads, water plugs, pipe entries, drainage systems, manholes and pits, soak wells, underground faults, reservoirs, dam walls and tunnels. This product also found use in the mining industry where nuisance water in hard rock conditions had to be stopped. Excellent results were achieved in halite / concrete interface sealing – even with brine present.
